Few people will have the opportunity to experience the pristine Maroon Bells Snowmass Wilderness on horse back. We have gentle sturdy mountain horses which we will personally match to your riding ability. On all our rides, from 2 hours to the full 5 day horse pack trips, our friendly and professional guides have years of experience that will make your trip safe as well as memorable.

2 HOUR RIDE: A gentle horseback ride for a short getaway that is fun for families, groups, or a quiet private ride amidst your busy summer schedule. Great vistas from Hunter Pass of Mount Sopris, the Sawatch Range, and the entire Roaring Fork Valley are. memorable. Don’t forget your camera.    

HALF DAY RIDE: Enjoy a leisurely horseback ride into the beautiful Snowmass Creek Valley through aspen groves and wildflowers. We will supply water, juice and small snack for a brief stop along the way. For Families or Groups we can arrange a picnic for an addition $15.00 per person.      

ALL DAY – WEST SNOWMASS CREEK: Ride up Snowmass Creek turning up into West Snowmass Creek for a leisurely ride through Aspen and pines groves for a creek side lunch at our summer camp in the beautiful meadows at the base of Mt. Daily and Clarks Peak.

ALL DAY – SNOWMASS LAKE: The horse back ride to Snowmass Lake weaves aspen groves and pockets of wild flowers through spectacular Snowmass Creek Valley. Enjoy a leg stretch over looking Bear Creek Falls before continuing on for lunch in the dramatic setting of Snowmass Lake.
